Well, so far, it hasn’t rung. I’m following all the instructions carefully, but the alarm doesn’t seem to work. And when I close the app, it pops open again. I intend to delete this thing and search for a clock that’s similar to the one on my iPad.

This app does not close when you want to stop it in the morning, have fun….

I use the basic version, and it does all I want perfectly. Easy to set, loud enough to make sure I hear it, pleasant to look at.

Apparently, the line in the license agreement that says Apalon will include ads from 3rd parties means that adware is installed to your computer. I mistakenly believed Apple would not allow such things in its App Store. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I installed, and now every time I hover over a scroll bar, an ad opens. BEWARE.

Nothing to write home about.

If you accidentally leave your computer muted, you won’t hear the alarm. There are other alarm clock apps that turn the volume back on before they broadcast the alarm, so you don’t need to worry about messing up.

This alarm is awful. It used to work fine, but now it never goes off or it goes off randomly for no reason. Just today I was on my computer and at 10:29am the alarm went off (it’s set for 630am every day, didn’t go off this morning of course). If you want to get to work on time, which I haven’t been thanks to this app, then download something more reliable.

Disgusted that I installed this app. Chock-full of ads and unwanted notifications. Limited functionality. This is not what desktop software is supposed to be. Deleted right away.

It doesnt even work right. The alarm didnt play at the appointed time. Then, it refused to be quit via Cmd-Q. I had to kill it via Activity Monitor. Thats just spammy behavior. Nevermind the fact this app is trying desperately to get you to buy upgrades. It feels like it only exists to sell a pay version. Who would want to pay for an app that doesnt even work right? #fail

I used this app once or twice. Although I un-checked the box “launch at startup”, it always launches at startup. It also cancels any shutdown of the Mac until you close it. I had no choice but to delete the app. Disappointing.

I lost my IPhone 6 charger and my phone only had 18% left and I, of course, was on social media and texting my boyfriend all nght so I knew my phone would die in the morning before I can get another charger. I was on my MacBook Pro, looked up Alarm Clocks and this was the first one and I like how it was a dark screen with the blue lights, how you have different options for sounds and most of all I like how easy it was to download and its free!!! I set the alarm to wake up and fell asleep knowing I wouldnt be late to work. My phone ended up having 2% by the time I woke up. Always good to have a back up. And best of all I just turned the light off on my laptop and kept it on the charger and it works like a charm. Thanks Apple!

Found this app last night. Set it for 7:15 this am. It’s now 7:55 and the alarm didn’t go off. It’s a friggin’ alarm clock, for crying out loud! If I can’t set it up, it’s useless. If it’s so complicated that it can’t be reliably used, then it’s too stupid to exist, and its creators should be drawn and quartered in a public square for the amusement of the citizenry. Useless.

I did the update, and now I have the unpaid version... and the old version worked fine... how is that an update?
