Alarm Clock App Reviews
Strange glitch
All ok, but when in the Dock, it always show only one time - 8:30, and this time is static. It’s right ?

no rank - a clock app should be able to give a person
I woke up BEFORE the alarm, this morning and tried to close it 2 MINUTES before it was supposed to go off. It just waited and started playing the tone. It was 12 seconds afterward that I was able to turn off the alarm. And, why does it take so long to load? If all it is is a clock with fancy graphics and a handful of custom tones? Why does it take so long? If I didn’t need an alarm clock so bad, I’d just delete it, now. However, I’m going to have to wait until payday, buy an alarm clock, and delete this annoying application. I fully concur with the complaints about the upgrade messages being annoying and NOT being able to have my computer in sleep mode for it to work. All in all, the clock looks nice and the tones are nice. However, the alarm clock I had on my iPhone was much better. It had weather, news, and FaceBook posts, as well as, the ability to customized the color. I might see if I can find that one, again.
SadBoys
Didn’t wake me up when I needed it to, even though I followed the exact instructions, very disappointing.
Ok so it’s not calling Itunes from back in the 90’s that could use Icall to activate Itunes. The interface is very nice and in the free version there are three things that stand out to me. Nightstand mode: a full screen night time room clock, very nice! Sleep Timer w/ white noise, bringing the whole sleep experince together in one app, good! The assending alarm feature, a less jaring way to come into a wakeful state. Drawbacks include : It’s window is a quarter of the screen with no minimumize mode, if you wanted to use it as your regular clock it’ll take up a lot of space on the desk top, . The giant red upgrade button on the free version makes it feel like an advertizment. The buttons to set the alarm are tiny and as it’s maine funtion the interface for setting the alarm could have a much better look. The selection of wake-up sounds for the free version is poor, they all have that ringtone feel to them. I don’t know if the full version allows users to put in a ULR for a radio station but it would be a nice feature and harken back to the days of the ClockRaido. If your travling and need an alarm to wake you, grab this app it will meet your needs.
Apple Watch
Can we get one that looks like the Apple Watch, pleeeeeease!
You had one job. I downloaded the app, set my alarm, left my computer on and open (just dimmed the screen to black), no alarm went off. :( IT SHOULD BE SIMPLE, IT SHOULD OVERRIDE SLEEP MODE OR any other inhibitors automatically.
I have this on my iPhone 5s, and iPod Touch. They work great in iOS. So I when I wanted an alarm clock on my 15: MacBook Pro (OS X 10.7.5) I thought this would be a no brainer. Boy, I was WRONG! I down loaded the free version just as a precaution and tried to open it, then… CRASH! I tried again CRASH, and again CRASH! Thank Darwin I didnt automaticly buy the pro version. Im looking else where now.
It Has A Pretty Sleek Interface & Is Not Complicated Or Annoying. Has No Ads & Has Nice Tones. You Can Certaily Get By With The Free Version But If You Need More Than 1 Alarm & If You Have A Bit Of Extra Cash I Would Certainly Upgrade To The Full Version. But All In All It’s A Good App.
Good For when you drop your phone in a lake
Mountain has a sick beat.
What attracted me to this app the most was the fantastic design + the large BLUE (favorite color) night mode clock, basic features, simple to use, that’s all I need! The large numbers help out tremendously, for once I take out my contact lenses, my vision is greatly reduced. Since the mac is already plugged in, I was able to unplug my old alarm clock. It’s a WIN all around! Thank you.
This has no problems. All i use it for is for waking me up every morning and looking at the time at night. If you want no advertisements or a little better interface, pay for the pro version. For me, I would not need that. Great app, haven’t caught any errors!
Didn
I didnt even get to use it at all. Every time I clicked to open it, it would quit before it started up.
Too bad the image dy whecan not expand to full screen. However, the app. is very handy when I travel. Sometimes I am working on a project and in the middle of doing something that needs special attention, I get a pop-up asking me to upgrade.
good
this app is good & great for when you are sleeping.
Although the app does what it advertises… I would honestly never be able to recommend it to anyone because it asks for ratings/reviews or upgrades MULTIPLE times a day! It’s so intrusive, I’ve had to uninstall it. When I start my computer, the app opens automatically asking me to upgrade. When I’m working on something else, I’ll suddenly be taken to the “Space” with the app opened to an upgrade request. When I let something install over night & enable it to restart, this app prevents the restart because it wants me to rate it. As a product manager and designer myself, I cannot believe that a company would make a product that so horribly diminishes the user experience of not just the alarm clock use, but even the user’s experience with anything and everything else they do on their computer.
Amazing
It is amazing and work completely fine for me as per my experience.
